Technical & Legal Disclaimer

Important technical and legal disclosures regarding GPS accuracy, cellular coverage, mileage variance, and AI video telematics operating conditions in Bangladesh.

Official Legal Policy Last Updated: August 19, 2026 Governing Law: Bangladesh
1

General Telematics & Information Disclaimer

The information, hardware specifications, telematics analytics, software tools, and consulting guidance provided by ADL Moto Viewer are offered in good faith for fleet monitoring, cargo security, and operational management. While we strive to ensure optimal precision, real-world telematics relies on external wireless infrastructures, satellite constellations, and vehicle mechanical integrity which are subject to technical variables.

2

GPS Signal & Satellite Geometry Limitations

Global Positioning System (GPS/GNSS) receivers calculate vehicle coordinates via line-of-sight satellite radio signals. In situations where vehicles are parked inside underground basements, multi-level concrete garages, tunnels, or dense urban canyons with towering high-rises, satellite signals may be obstructed or reflected (multipath interference). Under these environmental conditions, GPS coordinate accuracy may temporarily drift or display approximate positions until line-of-sight satellite lock is re-established upon vehicle departure into open sky.

3

Cellular (GSM/4G LTE) Network Dependency

ADL Moto GPS devices and dashcams transmit telemetric data to cloud servers using authorized mobile network operator SIM cards (Grameenphone, Banglalink, Robi, Airtel, Teletalk). While coverage spans all 64 districts of Bangladesh, remote rural corridors, hilly tracts, deep basements, and maritime routes may encounter temporary network dead-zones or carrier congestion. In such events, ADL devices store tracking events in internal flash memory (black-box buffer) and automatically upload all stored points upon reconnecting to cellular service.

4

Mileage & Distance Computation Variance

Mileage calculations in telematics software are derived from consecutive GPS waypoint telemetry combined with vehicle speed sensor telemetry. Because vehicle odometer readings are affected by tire diameter wear, pressure fluctuations, and road terrain curves, software-calculated GPS mileage reports may reflect a minor technical variance of ±5% to 15% when compared directly against physical vehicle odometer dials. This represents an accepted industry standard variance.

5

Fuel Telemetry & Capacitive Sensor Calibration

ADL Moto ultrasonic and capacitive fuel sensors provide industry-leading liquid level precision. However, fuel volume calculations are subject to vehicle inclination on slopes, rapid fuel sloshing during sudden braking, diesel temperature expansion/contraction, and irregular fuel tank geometry. Fuel consumption analytics should be utilized as management audit tools rather than certified weights and measures instrumentation.

6

AI Dashcam, ADAS & DMS Safety Assistance

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS) algorithms are engineered to aid driver attentiveness, reduce blind-spot collisions, and flag fatigue events (eye closure, yawning, phone usage). These computer-vision algorithms serve as supplementary operator aids and do NOT replace the alert, focused judgment of a licensed human driver. ADL Moto AI cameras do not control vehicle steering or brakes and assume no liability for driver negligence or road accidents.

7

Remote Engine Cut-Off & Anti-Theft Immobilization

Remote engine cut-off relays are designed strictly as an anti-theft asset protection safeguard. Clients and dispatchers are strictly advised to execute remote engine immobilization ONLY when a vehicle is confirmed stationary or moving at safe crawling speeds (under 20 km/h) to prevent sudden power steering or brake booster loss on high-speed highways.

8

Vehicle Electrical System & Professional Installation

All ADL Moto hardware installations must be performed by certified ADL technicians or qualified automotive electricians following the official wiring schematics. Unauthorized wire splicing, bypassing TVS surge protection, or incorrect tapping into high-voltage vehicle circuits may void manufacturer warranties and damage vehicle electronics.

9

Third-Party Maps, Traffic & Routing APIs

ADL Moto cloud platforms utilize enterprise mapping APIs (such as Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, and localized GIS layers). Road closures, municipal traffic diversions, bridge construction, and geocoding accuracy are governed by third-party mapping providers and municipal authorities.

10

Limitation of Liability & Support Assistance

To the maximum extent permissible under the laws of Bangladesh, ADL Moto Viewer shall not be held liable for indirect, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from asset loss, transit delays, or third-party telecommunication interruptions.
